Through performance and dialogue, UVA Acts promotes preventative practices that foster vibrant, equitable spaces for working and learning at the University of Virginia. Utilizing a combination of small group and large group discussion, dramatic portrayals of realistic scenarios, and practical application of intervention strategies, participants leave this two-hour workshop with steps to eliminate implicit bias from the hiring process, methods for intervening difficult moments, and tips for establishing and maintaining goal alignment.
